A Celebration of black excellence
Since 2015, JMLBA has partnered with local BLSA chapters to host the Annual Gala - a celebration of Black excellence in Central Ohio. This elegant affair commemorates our community’s continued commitment to diversity, excellence in the legal profession, and improvement to the quality of life in the greater Columbus area. This is an event you do not want to miss. Put on your creative formal wear and join us in the celebration of excellence!
The Annual Gala is the signature fundraiser for JMLBA. Support for the Gala funds our law student scholarships, allows us to provide free programming for our members, and sponsor community outreach programs and seminars. JMLBA is a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Thank you to those who help us continue our mission and programs by attending and/or sponsoring this annual event.
